Viniyoga-inspired class

In this varied, creative approach to yoga, students are encouraged to listen to their bodies when moving into and holding poses. The philosophy of this style is that yoga should serve the student, the student should not serve the yoga. Appropriate for level 1 beginners or higher.

Vinyasa Classes

Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links movement into and out of poses (asanas) to the breath (pranayama) and flows smoothly between different poses in a kind of “dance”. Vinyasa classes build strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. Various levels of difficulty are offered and some classes will be held in heated rooms (check our schedule). Each teacher will set their class to music of their choice and infuse the instruction with their own unique style, creative sequencing, and personality.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time— it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes to five minutes.  Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
