HOT STONE MASSAGE
This massage is performed using heated basalt stones. The heat from the stones is transferred to the body and warms the tissue to allow ease of muscle movement. This type of massage is ideal for clients seeking a deeply relaxing massage. It is a perfect for those with difficulty mentally unwinding. It is meant to ease the mind in turn allowing the therapist to work out areas of muscle tension. A 60 minute session consists of massaging with both the stones and hands on.
Deep Tissue Massage

Sports therapy is simply applied to athletic clients, according to what their tissues respond to, but does often incorporate stretch and joint movements. Kelly offers pre-workout or pre-competition sessions that warm up the tissue and prepare it for endurance.

Ideal for old injuries, lack of range in joints, and tissue that feels fibrously and restricted. The pressure used can be light, medium or deep, but is intended with specificity. The experience can be described as a stretch, a warming of the area, with the release creating movement and a lengthening feeling.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch, whole-body treatment technique that works with the body’s craniosacral system to support and nourish the central nervous system, improving overall health and well-being. This complementary method of hands-on body work works with the natural and unique rhythms of the different body systems to pinpoint and address problem sources. CST improves the body’s ability to self-care, improves coping mechanisms allowing for better stress management, and helps alleviate the aches, pains, and strains of life. By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, motor-coordination impairments, concussions and traumatic brain injuries, learning disabilities, chronic fatigue, emotional difficulties, stress and tension-related problems, fibromyalgia and other connective tissue disorders, temporomandibular joint syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, and post-surgical dysfunction.
